2023 Fall Restorative Justice Internship

FORA encourages anyone passionate about refugee literacy, refugee family empowerment, and non-profit management to apply to be a 2023 Fall Restorative Justice intern! Interns can choose to participate for one semester or one full academic year starting Sept. 5th.

Interns will be integrated with FORA's High Impact Tutoring and management departments where they will be tasked with implementing community outreach research, educating families on the American education system, and more to learn the daily operations of a grass-roots non-profit organization.

Interns are expected to commit at least 8 hours each week between the hours of 10am and 8pm.  Specific scheduling details will be determined during the intern's interview. Students from Loyola University Chicago with Work Study aid are eligible to receive paid compensation. Otherwise, the internship is unpaid with possible nomination of the prestigious Presidential Volunteer Service Award.

In past years, FORA has hosted diligent high schoolers, undergraduates, and PhD candidates all devoted to providing refugees with an equal and robust education! The application is linked here and applicants will be accepted on a rolling basis.
